DATES: Qualifying Play: Friday & Saturday, June 1–2, 2018. Bracket Play: Sunday, June 3 and Friday – Sunday, June 8–10, 2018
ELIGIBLE: Men amateur golfers with a one-year established handicap and 12-month LI (Low Index) of 4.9 or better as of May 15th, 2018, OR who have played high school or collegiate golf within the past two years.
REGISTRATION PROCESS & KEY DATES:
Feb 19: Registration opens
May 24: Registration closes at 11:59 PM
May 25: Preliminary Pairings posted on website by 6:00 PM. Late Registration opens online if the event is not full
May 28: Late Registration closes at 11:59 PM
May 29: Final Pairings posted on website & tournament portal by 6:00 PM
FORMAT: The lowest 64 aggregate gross scores from the 36-hole Qualifier will proceed to Bracket Play. In case of ties for the 64th spot, a sudden-death playoff will be held immediately following regulation play on Saturday. Bracket Round play will take place as follows:
Round of 64: Sunday, June 3 – Beginning at 7:00 AM
Rounds of 32 and 16: Friday, June 8 – Beginning at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM
Quarterfinals and Semi-Finals: Saturday, June 9 – Beginning at 6:30 AM and 11:30 AM
Final & Third Place Matches (18-hole): Sunday, June 10 – 8:00 AM
PAIRINGS & TEE TIMES: Qualifying Play tee times will begin at 7:00 AM on each day. Saturday’s second round pairings will be determined by Friday’s scores. Bracket Play tee times will be determined by position of the match within the master bracket.
NEW FOR 2018! TOURNAMENT SERVICES PACKAGE: Players that plan on renting a golf cart and warming up with a medium bucket of balls before each of the two Qualifying Rounds can now save 20% on that expense by optionally pre-paying when registering online. Simply choose Tournament Services Package as an option when registering and each golf shop will be waiting for you with cart key and range token on each Qualifying Round day. Please note though, that the Package is all-inclusive and “all or none”. It applies to BOTH Qualifying Rounds, and once a player has begun using the Package, no refund of any kind will be made. Plan ahead and save!
