The Long Beach Open is one of the few true "Opens"--no qualifying, no membership fees, first-come first-in. As you can see from the past winners, it can be a stepping stone for you. Paul Goydos and Scott McCarron used their first place money to finance their way into PGA Tour school, which opened the doors to the "fame and fortune" you are all striving for. In addition to the guaranteed purse, the tournament features: a practice round at each course, food & beverages for the players, complimentary range balls during the tournament and other amenities.
