ELIGIBLE:  Men amateur golfers with a one-year established handicap OR who have played high school or collegiate golf within the past two years.

REGISTRATION PROCESS & KEY DATES: 

    Feb 19:  Registration opens

    June 28:  Registration closes at 11:59 PM

    June 29:  Preliminary Pairings posted on website by 6:00 PM; Late Registration opens online if the tournament is not full

    July 2:  Late Registration closes at 11:59 PM

    July 3:  Final Pairings posted on website and tournament portal by 6:00 PM

FORMAT:  54 holes of aggregate stroke play within flights, with a 36-hole cut to the low one-third and ties. Flighting is as follows…

  • Championship: Players who meet one of the following criteria: (a) Have a Low Index (LI) of 0.0 or better as of June 15th; (b) Was a member of a Division 1 collegiate golf team in either 2017 or 2018; (c) Placement within the Top 25 of the Men’s City Championship in either 2016 or 2017 AND who contact the tournament office in advance to request inclusion. Gross competition only.

  • Flights A – D: All other players will be assigned to LI-based flights of equivalent size at close of Registration; Gross & net competition.

    PAIRINGS & TEE TIMES: 

  • Championship: Will play Recreation Park on Friday and Skylinks on Saturday

  • Flights A – D: Will play Skylinks on Friday and Recreation Park on Saturday

    All players will remain within foursome for both Round 1 and Round 2. Sunday’s Final Round pairings will be determined by aggregate 36-hole gross score.

    NEW FOR 2018!  TOURNAMENT SERVICES PACKAGE:  Players that plan on renting a golf cart and warming up with a medium bucket of balls before each of the first two rounds can now save 20% on that expense by optionally pre-paying when registering online. Simply choose Tournament Services Package as an option when registering and each golf shop will be waiting for you with cart key and range token before Round 1 and Round 2. Please note though, that the Package is all-inclusive and “all or none”. It applies to BOTH of the first two rounds of the tournament, and once a player has begun using the Package, no refund of any kind will be made. Plan ahead and save!
